Is the event planner free?
Yes. The free plan keeps one open plan with everything in it: the budget with planned and actual costs, the dated checklist, every list and CSV export. Pro removes the limit and adds shared plans, and every new account gets 14 days of Pro free, no card. Finished and archived plans do not count toward the limit.
What kinds of events can I plan?
A trip, a wedding, the holidays, a renovation, a party, a baby, or anything else. The kind sets the budget categories, the starter checklist and the lists — packing and an itinerary for a trip, guests and vendors for a wedding, gifts for the holidays — and every part of it can be changed afterwards.
How does it work out what is left in my budget?
Each budget line uses its real cost once you enter it and the planned amount until then. Their sum is the expected total, and the budget minus that total is what is left — negative means over budget. Deposits count toward what is paid, so you also see what is still to be handed over.
Can I plan a wedding together with my partner?
Yes, with a shared plan on Pro. Everyone in it sees the same budget, tasks and lists; editors add and tick things off, viewers only look, and every row shows who added it. Your personal plans stay private. Writing into a shared plan needs your own Pro; viewing and exporting never do.
How do the guest list and the seating plan work?
Guests move from invited to confirmed or declined, and party size adds up into the head count, so a family of four is one row and four guests. Meal choices and dietary needs are counted for the caterer. The seating board places each party at a table and shows when a table is over its seats.
Can I plan a trip abroad in several currencies?
Yes. Each plan has its own currency, and any budget line can carry another one — a trip budgeted in dollars can pay its hotel in euros. Totals are converted at the day's rate while each line keeps the amount you typed, and the overview says when figures are converted.
Does it connect to my calendar or book anything?
No. It does not connect to an outside calendar, a bank or a booking site; a vendor marked booked is a note to yourself. Tasks, payments due, itinerary days and gifts appear on the planner's own month calendar, and the checklist dates are counted back from the event day.
Can I export my plan?
Yes. Every plan with its budget lines, tasks, list rows and tables exports as one CSV file, free on every plan, always. In a shared plan the export is free for every member. The Wedding, Vacation, Gift and Baby Cost calculators can also start a plan with their breakdown filled in.
