1. Who we are

CalculatorAI (“we”, “us”) operates the website at calculatorai.app and provides a suite of financial, real-estate, health and lifestyle calculators, optionally enhanced with AI features. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights over it.

2. Data we collect

Account data: when you sign up — your email address, the display name you provide, and the language you use the site in. Stored in our Supabase database.
Authentication data: hashed password (for email accounts) or your Google account identifier (if you sign in with Google).
Subscription state: whether your Pro entitlement is active and until when. Billing is processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers.
Calculator history and favorites: stored locally in your browser by default. If you are signed in we may sync this to our database.
Waitlist data: if you joined the pre-launch waitlist — your email, locale, and the date you signed up.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) and minimal analytics needed to keep the service running.

3. How we use your data

To create and operate your account.
To send transactional emails — confirmation, password reset, security notifications, billing receipts, and the launch announcement you signed up for.
To grant Pro access (including the free Pro month for waitlist signups).
To improve calculator accuracy and the user experience.
To comply with our legal obligations and prevent fraud.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of third parties to run CalculatorAI:

Vercel — hosting, edge network, server logs.
Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Google — only if you choose “Sign in with Google”.
Stripe (when paid subscriptions launch) — payment processing.

5. Your rights (GDPR / similar)

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data (you can edit your name and email in account settings).
Delete your account and all related data — use the Delete account button in settings. Deletion is permanent.
Export your data in a portable format on request.
Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account exists. Server logs are kept up to 90 days. Billing records are retained for as long as required by accounting law. Deleted accounts are removed from active systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the EU, the United States, or other regions. Transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

8. Children

CalculatorAI is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
