Is this expense tracker free?
Yes. The free plan includes the full dashboard, category budgets, accounts, transfers, recurring payments, CSV import and CSV export, with up to 50 transactions; sample rows never count and deleting a transaction frees a slot. Pro removes the limit and adds bank-statement PDF import, receipt scanning, AI weekly insights and a PDF report. Every new account gets 30 days of Pro, no card needed.
Does it connect to my bank account?
No, and that is deliberate: the tracker never asks for your banking login. You bring transactions in from your bank's CSV export (free), from a statement PDF in any language or a receipt photo (Pro), or type them in. Because nothing depends on a bank aggregator, it works the same in every country.
How do I import transactions from a bank CSV file?
Press Import, choose CSV and upload any bank or spreadsheet export. The assistant proposes which column is the date, the amount and the description, you check a live preview, then import. Dates and amounts are read forgivingly; automatic categorisation of the imported rows is the Pro part, the import itself is free.
Can I track several accounts and credit cards?
Yes. Add cash, checking, savings, credit card, investment or your own account type, enter each opening balance once, and every account keeps a live balance from the transactions assigned to it. Transfers between your accounts move money without counting as income or spending, even between two currencies.
How does it handle recurring bills and subscriptions?
Mark a transaction as weekly, monthly or yearly and each occurrence is added on its day when you open the tracker; a payment on the 31st lands on the 28th in February and returns to the 31st in March. The Subscriptions tab shows the true monthly cost of everything that repeats, and you can pause, resume or stop any series.
Can I share expenses with my partner?
Yes, in a shared wallet: a separate ledger with its own transactions, accounts and budgets, kept with a partner, flatmate or business associate. Your personal ledger is never mixed in. Recording into a shared wallet needs your own Pro, while anyone invited can always view and export it for free.
Can I log expenses in different currencies?
Yes. Each transaction keeps its own currency, and the dashboard, budgets and reports convert everything at live exchange rates into the currency you pick in the header. A trip abroad and your home spending read as one coherent picture instead of a sum of mismatched numbers.
Can I export my expenses to Excel?
Yes. Download the full ledger as a CSV file, which opens in Excel or Google Sheets, at any time and on any plan — export is never gated. Pro adds a branded PDF report with income, spending by category, monthly cash flow, top merchants and every transaction. Your data stays visible even if Pro ends.
