Is the subscription tracker free?
Yes. The free plan keeps up to five active or paused subscriptions with totals, the calendar, reminders, price history and CSV import and export; cancelled ones stay as history without taking a slot. Pro removes the limit and adds the AI audit and the household book. Every new account gets 14 days of Pro, no card needed.
Can it find my subscriptions automatically?
It does not connect to your bank or card, so it never sees a statement. Instead, add services by hand — a known name shows its logo — import a CSV, pull in the recurring lines from your Expenses Tracker, or send the list from the Subscription Audit calculator. Grace, the site assistant, can also fill the form from a sentence.
Will it remind me before I'm charged or a free trial ends?
Yes. A push notification arrives a set number of days before each charge — three by default, adjustable per subscription — and before a trial converts into its first payment. Upcoming charges for the next thirty days are also listed on the overview, whether or not notifications are on.
How is my monthly subscription total calculated?
Each price is first converted to a yearly figure: a weekly plan times 52, monthly times 12, quarterly times 4, and an every-N-days plan times 365 ÷ N. The monthly total is that sum divided by twelve. Paused and cancelled subscriptions are left out; trials are included, because they are about to charge.
Can it cancel subscriptions for me?
No — cancelling stays in your hands, but the tracker makes it quicker. Each subscription can store the page where it is cancelled, so it is one click away. Rate each service from 1 to 5 and the overview lists what you rated "should cancel", spots two services doing the same job and shows the yearly saving.
Does it track price increases?
Yes. Every time you edit a subscription's price, the change is recorded, and the overview lists all price changes from the last twelve months, from old to new price with the yearly effect. The charge log keeps the price each payment was actually taken at, so last year's cheaper months stay accurate.
Can I share subscriptions with my family?
Yes, on Pro, in a household book: a separate list where everybody sees the same subscriptions and total, editors add and change services, and an administrator sets the currency, reminder lead time and monthly cap. Your personal list stays private, and exporting the whole book is free for every member.
Which billing cycles and currencies does it support?
Weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly and every N days — a 28-day phone plan, for example. Each subscription keeps the currency it bills in, and totals and charts are converted into the currency selected in the header at the day's rates. A monthly plan charged on the 31st moves to the 28th in February and back again.
