Every model priced on the same request. Where a provider does not publish your exact frame, the nearest one it does is used and the row says so. Cheapest first.
Drop in a paystub, bank statement or screenshot — the AI reads it and fills these fields for you.
Income & Expense Tracker is where this stops being a one-off number: keep your real balances there and the projection updates itself.
Describe an invoice and the AI writes it. PDF without watermarks, free.
Image generation is the one AI cost with no estimation in it: the provider prints a price per picture. What makes budgets wrong is not the rate, it is assuming that the number of pictures you need equals the number you will generate.
Work out how many generations it actually takes you to get one you keep, and put that number in. It is usually three to five, and it multiplies the entire bill.
Generate exploration at the low setting and only the chosen frame at high. On GPT Image 1 that is $0.011 against $0.167 for the same square picture.
A 4K generation costs several times a 1K one and is wasted on anything that lands in a 600-pixel column. Pick the size the destination actually renders.
Where the provider offers a batch lane — Google does, at half price — overnight and bulk work belongs in it. Nothing about the output changes.
These rates move, and a per-image price that shifts by a cent is a different annual figure at volume. The calculator catalogue is maintained against each provider’s official pricing pages.
Price the discards, not the keepers. Then check whether the job needs the quality setting you are paying for — on the same model it is a fifteen-fold dial, and most of what teams generate is a draft nobody will look at twice.
