OpenAI prices GPT Image 1 mini by quality and by frame. A square image costs $0.005 at low quality, $0.011 at medium and $0.036 at high; portrait and landscape frames cost more, up to $0.052. Quality is the setting that moves the bill most: high costs 7 times as much as low.
