How to quote as a legal services
A legal fee estimate has to draw two lines: what the matter covers, and where your fee stops and third-party costs begin. Court fees, searches and expert reports are not your fee, and a client who discovers that on the invoice rather than the estimate is a complaint waiting to happen.
